Job description

Our client based in Atherstone requires a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator – MILLING (AM Shift) . You will be setting and operating universal bed type milling machines with Heidenhain control system. You will need to have a good understanding of 3 & 4 axis machining and have machined a wide range of materials including Stainless, Aluminium, Mild Steel and Cast Iron. You must also have some experience in machining medium to large fabrications and castings.

Requirements / Experience:

• EXPERIENCE IN MACHINING LARGE FABRICATIONS AND CASTINGS
• SAFE USE OF OVERHEAD CRANES
• READ & UNDERSTAND ENGINEERING DRAWINGS
• CARRY OUT OWN INSPECTION
• WORK TO HIGH TOLERANCES
• PROGRAM ON-LINE HEIDENHAIN CONTROL SYSTEM
• EXPERIENCE IN WORKING WITH UNIVERSAL MILLING HEADS
• MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH SHIFTS TO COVER HOLIDAYS

Our client offers:

• 39 hour per week (4 day week)
• Mon-Thurs 0600-1600
• £16.00 - £18.00 per hour depending on experience
