Total Remuneration Package: Remuneration package valued at up to $145,985.00. Base salary ranges from $85,000.00 to $129,948.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Position Information Situated between the ocean and the lake in Darkinjung Country, TLSC The Entrance Campus is the senior campus of Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College. It is established as an adult working and learning environment offering multiple pathways to the HSC and beyond. Our campus consists of 800 Year 11 and Year 12 students from diverse backgrounds, including 8% Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander students. Our campus also has a large support unit 7-12.
We are part of a multi-campus collegiate and a proud partner of Tuggerah Lakes Learning Community. We have strong community partnerships with Kuriwa AECG, Parent Advisory Group and our Student Leadership team to ensure that our students are confident learners and can develop post-school pathways. Specific Selection Criteria

Approval to teach Food technology. Approval to teach Hospitality - Food and Beverage and Commercial Cookery, with a minimum Cert IV TAE 40116 Training and Assessment

Evidence of effective classroom practice in a Stage 6 setting that creates a culture of high expectations and accommodates for students with a wide range of learning needs through differentiated curriculum, classroom expectations and integrated real life experiences. 

Demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative member of a large faculty, contributing to programming, assessment, resource development and driving faculty focus areas.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
