Senior Lettings Consultant
Streatham, South West London, SW16
Starting salary up to £22,000 per annum, depending upon experience
PLUS uncapped commission scheme, OTE in first year approx £40,000+
PLUS Company Car - BMW Mini (unbranded)
5 days per week; Monday to Thursday, 8:45am to 6.30pm, Friday, 8:45am to 6:00pm, Saturday (on rota basis) 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Requirements
The main responsibility of a Senior Lettings Consultant is to match tenants with properties, ensuring the best outcome for our clients, achieving completed let targets, MA bookings, and maximising other revenue opportunities, to contribute towards the overall branch target.
As a Senior Lettings Consultant your main responsibilities will be to;
- Build relationships with clients to establish trust and rapport, registering and qualifying applicants
- Generate, book & conduct viewings and market appraisals for residential properties
- Negotiate with clients to ensure the best deal is agreed for both parties
- Fully qualify offers prior to them being submitted to the landlord
- Maintain exceptional levels of customer service throughout the process & build long standing successful relationships
What we are looking for:
- A proven track record of achieving targets within a property related role (2 years minimum)
- A strong understanding of the residential lettings sector, including key legislation influencing the industry would be preferred
- Strong understanding of the role of a Lettings Consultant within the residential lettings sector, and can concisely explain processes and responsibilities regards contracts/tenancy agreements, deposits, invoices, arrears, tenancies etc.
- Able to work independently and as part of team, with strong relationship building skills
- Able to listen, and maintain regular communication with clients and colleagues
- Ambitious, tenacious and resilient attitude with a pleasant and trustworthy manner
- Confident IT skills, able to work on Microsoft and bespoke programs with accuracy
- Full, manual, clean driving licence
