Procurement Administrator Birmingham Six Month Contract We are recruiting for a Procurement Administrator to assist our client’s procurement function in the processing of requisitions, generations of purchase orders and expediting of operations expenditure supplies and services.
Key Responsibilities: - Process purchase requisitions ensuring they are in accordance with delegated authority levels prior to the generations of purchase orders.
- Produce and control the administrations of uniforms, vehicles, and mobile phones, managing the control of stock.
- Ensure accurate production of purchase orders to colleagues.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic management information summaries relating to orders places and if applicable purchasing card transactions.
- Assist in maintaining supplier electronic catalogues within the purchasing system.
- Provide support to local purchasing users as required.
- Any other duties commensurate with grade and post as required.
Required Skills and Experience: • Working knowledge of wider procurement legislation and processes.
• Experience of procurement systems including e-sourcing/e-tendering
• Good working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well organised and able to work to tight deadlines.
• Previous knowledge of Railway operating environment (Desirable) #J-18808-Ljbffr
