Location: Sutton, United Kingdom
Position Type: Full-Time
Position will start as a temporary placement through the agency, with a permanent role available.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £18 per hour, plus £2.17 per hour in holiday pay (Paid Weekly)
Availability: Immediate
Are you a passionate and experienced Chef looking for a managerial role in a rewarding environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef Manager to join our team in Sutton, where you'll be the driving force behind our staff canteen-style food service for a charity organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cooking: Create delicious and nutritious meals for our staff canteen, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Ordering: Manage food and supply orders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Staff Rota's: Efficiently schedule shifts and manage work hours for our dedicated team.
- Stock Management: Oversee stock control and rotation to reduce waste and costs.
- Training Junior Staff: Provide mentorship, training, and support to our four junior staff members.
- Writing and Developing Menus: Craft and update menus to offer diverse and enticing food options to our organization.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in professional cooking and food preparation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Menu development and creative culinary skills.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
