Bluebird Care Sunderland is registered with CQC (Care Quality Commission) to support both Adults and Children (from 4 years and above). We provide Domiciliary and Live-In Care in the areas of Sunderland, Washington, Houghton-le-Spring and Hetton-le-Hole.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Field Care Supervisor

• Providing personal care duties, domestic services and socialisation if required
• Administering medication if required
• Manual handling, using equipment where required
• Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full
• Must be reliable
• Management responsibilities
• Customer and Staff Assessments.
• Managing a team of Senior Care Assistant/Care Assistants and working alongside other Field Care Supervisors.
• Reports to the Care Manager
• Share in the On-Call (out of hours support) rota.

Your Experience and Suitability for the Field care Supervisor Role

You must have had relevant/similar experiences working in the sector as either a Senior Care Assistant or Supervisor. We want to ensure our customer receives the very best care and to do that we need people who are naturally compassionate, caring and patient. We want a team who genuinely cares for each of our customers and staff as if it was their own family.

But don’t panic, we’ll ensure you have all the right training and development because we care for our Staff. After all, they care for our customers so it’s important that you feel equipped for the role.

You must :

• have a Full and valid UK driving licence
• have Access to a car
• have the Right to work in the UK
• have a good level of English and communication skills
• be Trained to at least Level 2 NVQ or something similar in the sector and working towards a higher level
• be reliable and flexible
• be keen on learning and self development

This is a full-time role and all you have to do is simply tell us your availability. Although we try to be flexible where we can, we do require you to be flexible with us too.

• A competitive salary of £23,000 to £25,000 per annum based on experience
