As a PA, your main responsibility is to assist Fee Earners within the Commercial Property team and contribute to the department's operations. You are expected to exercise a considerable level of self-management and initiative. Furthermore, you are required to function as part of a team and adhere to established practices and procedures regarding compliance and quality standards.
If successful, you will perform the following role as a Commercial Property PA:
* Managing client phone calls, inquiries, and requests by recording messages, scheduling appointments, or aiding clients whenever possible.
* Collaborating closely with a Commercial Property Fee Earner to arrange digital and physical files, original documents, and maintain awareness of significant deadlines concerning cases.
* Assisting fee earners with general case management, including filing, transcribing from digital dictation, and photocopying as necessary.
* Handling incoming emails and mail, organizing them, and responding when appropriate.
* Creating and submitting SDLT returns online as instructed.
* Supporting fee earners and other team members as needed.
* Carrying out any reasonable tasks as assigned.
* Ensuring the completion of post-completion duties (such as Companies House registrations, SDLT submissions, ordering Indemnity Policies where applicable, etc.).
* Conducting exchanges and completions.
* Maintaining the confidentiality of the firm's and clients' documentation and information.
* Participating in specific training sessions as required and taking responsibility for self-development.
* Providing assistance to other secretaries when necessary.

* Must have previous experience working in either residential property or commercial property
