Agility are delighted to be working with an extremely successful organisation that is looking to expand their team and hire a talent Assistant Accountant. Working in a busy finance department in a team of 3 full time members of staff and 1 part time member of staff. The contact for this position has been with the company for nearly 20 years, starting as a Credit Controller, working their way up to Finance Manager, proving this company promotes from within.

What you will be doings:

• Assisting with preparation of month end
• Inputting and managing the general ledgers
• Preparation of month and year end reports
• Creation of costings for the budgets
• Prepayment and accruals
• Journal and bank reconciliations
• Creation and monitoring of product costings including process costing.
• Other ad hoc duties

What you will have:

• 2 years experience within a similar role
• Team player
• Accounting qualification or QBE
• Knowledge of Excel

• Base salary of up to £30,000
