Teacher of the deaf - Waltham Forest - September 2024 start - MPS/UPS - SEN Allowance depending on experience
Are you a highly motivated, experienced teacher of the deaf BSL Level 3?
Are you a Teacher of the deaf specialism ICT?
Are you a Teacher of the deaf with a QTS?

The Role - Teacher of the deaf
Your main responsibilities as a teacher of the deaf will be to deliver a broad, relevant and differentiated curriculum incorporating numeracy, literacy in line with the national curriculum. As a Teacher of the deaf you will have a strong understanding of the students needs delivering stimualting lessons to children who are deaf or hearing impaired using relevant teaching strategies for children to reach their full potential. QTS is required however a strong Teacher with BSL Level 3 will be considered for this position.
The School - Teacher of the deaf
This is a mixed gender school, they have been recognised as a good school (ofsted 2017) for deaf and language impaired children 4 - 16 years old. They have 150 students deaf, speech and language, communication needs. They are hoping to employ a Teacher of the deaf BSL Level 3 to join a happy school and be part of a team to provide students with the highest education.
