Job Title: Compliance Officer

Location: Hampshire

Onsite: 3 days per week

Salary: £35,000

I am currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Monitoring Officer to join our clients Legal and Compliance department. The successful candidate have experience ensuring regulatory adherence, providing customer service, and contributing to a dynamic team environment.

The Role:

As a Compliance Monitoring Officer, you will play a crucial role in executing compliance monitoring activities within the Legal and Compliance department. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Plan by conducting monitoring activities as per the plan
• Collaborating with key stakeholders in the business to agree upon and monitor actions following monitoring activities
• Generating Compliance Monitoring reports upon the completion of monitoring assignments
• Ensuring all actions are compliant with regulatory guidelines and policies

Key Outputs and Responsibilities:

• Conducting monitoring activities in line with the Compliance Framework and recommended standards
• Completing conveyancer and third-party audits
• Handling internal and external queries with accuracy
• Updating and maintaining policies and procedures
• Working towards set objectives, service standards, and deliverables
• Identifying opportunities for service and efficiency improvements
• Applying principles of Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF) and the Consumer Duty

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ability to manage workload independently
• Ideally, two years of work experience in the financial services industry
