CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for a Space Planner and System Support team member to join the Team.

Purpose of the Job

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical proficiency (AutoCAD), Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) analytical skills, and a strong understanding of space planning principles.

Key Tasks:

Space Planning:

• Responsible for keeping Client’s Furniture Space Management System and room booking system up to date and compliant with Client Global Space Process 
• Ensure continuous real-time accuracy of space data to enable periodic reporting to Client in accordance with the Business Process requirements, including ownership, type and use
• Developing relationships with key business interfaces in each of the Business Units and react to space requirements
• Study / present space allocation solutions which are aligned with Client’s strategic space plans
• Manage and maintain the space database – Create / Update / Activate / Retiring Space records, updating space types and chargeback allocations
• Ensure accuracy of space data including classification, OSCRE coding, numbering, capacity, and occupancy, coordinating Contract Managers and the Client as required
• Support  the required drawing updates identified through Space changes 
• Liaise with Contract Managers, Project team leads and the Client business group contact for move management requirements
• Provide reports as requested by Client
• Performs regular space audit of completeness and quality of the floor plans displayed in space tool and update location data on a regular basis throughout the year and ensures data integrity and accuracy for reports    
• Preparation of space data for submission of strategy/forecast and year-end
• Support Space optimisation projects on request
• Study / present space allocation solutions which are aligned with Client’s strategic space plans and strategy
• Be part of the CBRE Global Support for all Space Management Activities

CAD Drawings:

• In accordance with the Clients layering, drawing name standards and process’
• Maintain 2D Furniture CAD Drawings and Polylines for assignment to CAD and Space Data 
• Publish drawings in a uniform / standard format
• Ensure accuracy of all Building, Floor and Space Architectural and Polyline drawings 
• Support account with CAD related drawing requests

System Support:

• Create / maintain a repository for all site related drawings
• Maintain and support updates to the customer room  booking systems
• Provide support to the EMEA Central Team on System Administration

Other:

• Manage assigned tasks independently and requesting support as needed
• Provide support to the account Team and Client for any ad-hoc requests
• Identify efficiencies in recurring tasks to reduce time spent, allowing for additional responsibilities
• Contribute to the overall service delivery model by covering KPI metrics and collaborating with other service lines as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

• AutoCAD Experience 
• Experience with Microsoft Office Package
• Must be able to work under minimum supervision
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Customer focused, with excellent influencing and communication skills

Desirable:

• Prior experience in client space planning or related field preferred

Note: 

• This role is based on 40 hours per week, with the ability to be flexible to business demands
• This role may involve reasonable travel
