Integra Education are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work full time in an Offsted rated GOOD secondary school full time until the end of the school year at the earliest. Potential to be kept on from September.

Location: Offsted rated good secondary school

Position Type: Full-time, temporary with potential for permanent

Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 qualification preferred, Enhanced DBS essential

Experience: Experience working in a secondary school setting with students with SEN needs essential

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: Until the end of the school year

Job Description:

Integra Education, a leading supply agency, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a reputable secondary school rated 'good' by Offsted. This position involves providing support to a student with learning difficulties on a one-to-one basis.

Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to the assigned student with learning difficulties

Assist the student in understanding and completing classroom tasks

Implement strategies to support the student's academic and social development

Collaborate with the classroom teacher and SENCO to ensure the student's needs are met

Maintain accurate records of the student's progress and achievements

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student

Requirements:

Level 2 or 3 qualification in education or related field preferred

Enhanced DBS clearance essential

Experience working in a secondary school setting with students with SEN needs

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with additional needs

Ability to work effectively as part of a team
