A rapidly growing group of hotels are now looking to recruit an additional Finance Manager to join the team. Based on the outskirts of Blackpool, the company now boasts an impressive property portfolio and through acquisition looking to grow and develop this further.
Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for :
- Review & reconciliation of banking, revenue recognition and stock
- Control of the trial balance generally (Monthly accruals & prepayments, Reconciliation of balance sheet, accounts, Fixed asset register & depreciation postings)
- Production of Management Accounts
- Leading analysis of the P&L on a monthly basis and being able to clearly articulate variances to execs at monthly finance reviews
- Take ownership of the accounting processes and chart of accounts, driving on-going efficiencies and reducing time spent on various finance work flows.
- Involved in the budgeting and forecasting processes as well as reporting against the budgeted numbers
