Job description
Step Teachers is seeking a Year 4/5 Class Teacher to join a partner school in Barnet, starting in April 2024. This full-time position is temporary, lasting until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent contract starting in September 2024 for the suitable Year 4/5 Class Teacher.

Your duties as a Year 4/5 Class Teacher:
Strong knowledge of the curriculum at Key Stage 2
Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school
Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
Able to plan and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons
Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively
As a Year 4/5 Class Teacher you will have:
QTS or an equivalent qualification
Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching in a Primary School
Experience working with SEND
