Job description
Wonderful special needs role for a lovely 3 year old in St Albans as well as her twin sister and older brother of 5 years.
She has cerebral palsy and is non verbal but can communicate. Super lovely family who are looking for a confident, chatty and loving nanny who has a passion for developing children with special needs.
She also has developmental delay. She can understand lots but is non verbal and gets frustrated in trying to communicate so this is a real focus at the moment. There are queries over how much she can see. She cannot move alone except to roll so will need handling. She is peg fed but can eat blended regular food. Shared care so ability to work in a team is a must.
The other children have no additional needs and require school/nursery runs as well as playing games and enjoying them in the holidays for days out. Sole care for these guys. Nanny duties needed. Happy to pay £18 gph plus for the right person. The right fit is really important to this family. She goes to lots of therapy groups and has physio exercises etc at home. Previous cerebral palsy or medical care experience is ideal but not essential as they are very happy to train someone. Nice busy role to start when they find the right person.
