Head of Finance
Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £44,862 - £51,099 per annum
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Permanent (Full Time/Part-time considered - no less than 3 days)

We are seeking a talented individual to join us as our Head of Finance and lead our financial operations to new heights.

Head of Finance , you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by ensuring effective financial management and contributing to the school's overall success.
Head of Finance Responsibilities: - To maintain accurate financial records by ensuring accurate inputting of invoices, petty cash receipts and other items as required into the school accounts software package by the Senior Finance Officer.
- Oversee creation of payment records for electronic upload, ensuring all necessary checks and authorisations are made.
- Run twice weekly BACS payment runs and ensure accuracy of all electronic payments, preparing packs for SBM and Headteacher to authorise. Send remittances by email.
- Ensure all BACS details are kept up to date and amended when necessary, keeping evidence for audit purposes
- Oversee reconciliation and reimbursement of petty cash and One Card
- Monitor and limit credit card (OneCard) usage and evidence all payments made for audit purposes ·
- Play an active role in day-to-day
Head of Finance Requirements: - Proven experience in a senior finance role.
- Recognized finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Adept at financial analysis and reporting.
