Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Permanent)
Workchain Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client's established team in Sheffield. This exciting opportunity lies within the Industrial industry and offers a competitive pay rate ranging from £11.00 to £11.50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake general warehouse duties, including but not limited to:
- Receiving and unloading incoming goods
- Accurately picking and packing orders
- Operating machinery and handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Conducting stock management tasks, such as labelling and shelving items
- Assisting with regular inventory counts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
Qualifications Required:
- Previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar role is highly desirable
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate order picking and packing
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team environment
- Effective time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
