Job description
Vickerstock are working in partnership with a renewable energy manufacturing firm based in Portadown on the appointment of a Supply Chain Manager.
Based in their brand new, modern Portadown site, you will be responsible for creating strong supply chain partnerships, strategic supply chain optimisation, and driving long-term cost efficiencies.

In your new role:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies, optimising procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations to reduce cost
Develop and maintain strong relationships with all suppliers negotiating contracts and terms to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials
Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and implementing corrective actions as needed
Oversee inventory levels, implementing efficient inventory management practices
Develop contingency plans and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions, shortages, or quality issues, ensuring continuity of operations
Work closely with production, logistics, finance, and quality assurance, to streamline processes and drive collaboration across departments
What you'll need to succeed:
A minimum of 5 years experience working in a senior procurement role within a fast paced, manufacturing environment
Proficient with ERP systems
A proven track record of implementing supply chain strategies to optimise operations and reduce costs
