Employer: Bellevue Place Education Trust, Rutherford House School

Salary: £15.84 - £20.00 per hour (Scale 4, Spine Point 7 – Scale 6, Spine Point 22) FTE 0.35

Contract type: Term Time only (39 weeks per year)

Opportunity to increase hours for the right candidate, this role can be added to other support staff roles.

15:15pm – 18:15pm (3 hours per day)

Contract term: Permanent (Fixed term contract)

Start date: As soon as possible

Opened in 2013 Rutherford House School was the first free school established by Bellevue Place Education Trust, to provide a broad, exciting education in a happy environment with a commitment to ensuring pupils achieve their full potential. The children are encouraged to learn independently, and are treated as individuals celebrating their unique set of talents.

At Rutherford House School our philosophy is to promote excellence and outstanding progress in the basics - literacy and numeracy, as well as sparking curiosity and instilling a lifelong love of learning and curiosity.

This is an exciting and exceptional opportunity for candidates to become fully involved in taking the lead in providing safe, high quality play and learning opportunities for children. We are looking for people who are confident in their abilities, to support learning and provide outstanding, creative and stimulating afterschool care. The successful candidate needs to have exceptional organisational skills to co-ordinate clubs, strong interpersonal skills to foster links between the school, home and wider community and be able to provide outstanding afterschool provision.
