A high school in Preston is seeking a German Teacher to join their dedicated languages department. As a leading institution committed to providing high-quality education, they are now looking for an enthusiastic individual who can inspire and engage students in the learning of the German language and culture.

Responsibilities:

Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver well-structured and engaging German lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of high school students.

Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the German language curriculum, incorporating relevant and contemporary teaching materials.

Assessment and Feedback: Implement effective assessment strategies and provide timely and constructive feedback to students, fostering a positive learning environment.

Cultural Integration: Integrate cultural aspects into lessons to provide students with a holistic understanding of the German language and culture.

Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and mutual respect.

Parental Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

Qualifications: QTS is required.

Experience: Proven experience in teaching German at the high school level. Familiarity with the curriculum requirements and educational standards.

Language Proficiency: Native or near-native proficiency in German. A strong command of English is also required.

Technology Skills: Proficient in using educational technology and tools to enhance the learning experience.

Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to the overall success of the languages department and the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
