Job description
Are you looking for a fantastic role in Holland Park with two active, fun little boys and a lovely family who are looking a friendly , upbeat and easy-going nanny who loves being around children?
We are looking for a nanny who is really going to become part of this wonderful family and work collaboratively with the parents. They are bright smiley happy typical boys who love to play. Mum is currently on maternity leave and plans on returning to work in May when the position will become sole charge- Mum and Dad work full time.
The oldest is at nursery part time in the mornings and will need dropping off and picking up from nursery just 5 minutes round the corner.
The family have had a Norland trained Nanny before and someone with this background would be their preference but they are open. The family also have a housekeeper.
No travel is required with this position.
General duties:
• All childcare duties
• Preparing snacks and healthy meals for the children
• Nursery and drop off and pick up
• Nursery duties –keeping play areas/bedroom and toys tidy and organised
• Engaging with the children with developmental play and age appropriate activities, Planning imaginative educational indoor and outdoor activities, arranging play dates and arranging fun things to do in the holidays and afterschool.
• Bed and Bath time
Candidate requirements:
• Driver would be a bonus but not essential.
• Fluent English skills to help with speech and homework.
• Experience with children of similar age
• Someone active who can keep up with two small children.
• Ideally to have a Norland background- however this is not essential.
• A friendly and relaxed person will fit in well with their family
• Someone happy , bubbly and with a positive personality who is well organised
• Firm but fun and a good role model for the children
DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
