Job description

We have a new opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our client's team as the Head of Marketing, based in Essex. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our client's marketing initiatives, ensuring the delivery of first-class. We are specifically seeking a candidate with a proven track record in the high-end technical live event production industry.

Main duties and key responsibilities:

The list below is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of duties and the role holder will be expected to perform different tasks as may reasonably be necessitated by his/her changing role within the organisation and the overall business.

Primary responsibilities:

• Working in collaboration with their VP of Marketing and Managing Director, set and be responsible for our client’s UK marketing strategy and the delivery thereof.
• Work with their Managing Director & VP of Marketing to expand our client’s business into Europe and the Middle East.
• Liaise closely with their US marketing team to ensure strategies align and all available synergies are being leveraged.
• Proactively bring new ideas to elevate the standard of our client’s marketing.
• Manage their marketing team to deliver very high quality:
• Daily social media content for all appointed channels - including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
• Blogs and other content for the website and other PR opportunities
• Website content that is kept up to date and ensure that it works for SEO and visual purposes
• Briefed design work and printed collateral for marketing campaigns
• Sales collateral including proposals and brochures
• Email marketing campaigns
• External company events
• Customer content creation management, including brainstorming/storyboarding, supporting with their customer pitches and scheduling for content creation
• Provide project leadership with their external suppliers and internal teams - Lead high-profile marketing campaigns and major projects
• Manage marketing budgets
• Acting as the lead on their customer content requirement services
• Travelling as required to attend shows and exhibitions to keep up to date, meet their customers and experience our work
