Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, talented Content & Copy Manager to join the Lucy & Yak Creative team! 

You will be responsible for the voice of Lucy & Yak, a voice that speaks to people all around the world. A voice that speaks to joy, comfort, inclusivity and being kinder to our planet. You will also be responsible for managing the output of the creative team: managing briefs from every department and reviews with the Content & Partnerships Manager.

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Content & Partnerships Manager, you’ll be working closely with them on copywriting projects and campaigns. You will also work with every team across the business, receiving their creative briefs and managing the creative team’s time and their workloads, plus organising sign offs with the Content & Partnerships Manager.

As Content & Copy Manager you will:

You will also help us establish our tone of voice, to resonate with our dedicated Lucy & Yak community, speaking across age groups and demographics. You’ll be liaising with the rest of the creative team, social team, product, sustainability and even operations, assisting them in any of their copywriting needs.

What are we looking for?

You'll have proven experience as a copywriter, with exceptional spelling and grammar.

We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail - you’ll know how to make sentences more readable, how to structure different pieces of comms, what makes a great subject line and so on.

You’ll be happy getting stuck into every aspect of the business and won’t be afraid to put your hand up with new ideas.

You’ll know what sets Lucy & Yak apart from other brands, and adapt your writing style to reflect that therefore existing knowledge of the Lucy & Yak product range, our ethos and core values would be great.

Ideally, you have a background in working with fashion brands and have a proven track record of writing for purpose-driven brands. You'll have experience tackling campaigns relating to for example: sustainability, LGBTQ+ issues, women’s issues etc.
