Secondary Teacher
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Start Date: Immediate Start Required
Salary: £120 - £180 per day
GSL Education Lincolnshire is currently in search of a skilled and dedicated Secondary Teacher for an esteemed SEN (Special Educational Needs) client school situated in the Lincoln region.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Plan and deliver specialized instruction to address the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and professionals to create a cohesive and inclusive educational experience for all students.
- Adapt and modify the curriculum to cater to the individual learning styles, abilities, and interests of students with special needs.
- Identify and assess the specific learning needs of students with special educational needs.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Regularly assess and track the progress of students, adjusting instructional strategies.
Requirements:
- Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS, registered on the update service , or be willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Provide differentiated learning experiences ensuring progress for all students.
- Foster a nurturing environment that gives the children a comfortable platform to learn.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge about Secondary National Curriculum.
- Right to Work in the UK
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) which is a must.
- Patience, resilience, and understanding is an absolute must.
