Senior Analytical chemist
This is a permanent opportunity paying negotiable salary with added benefits.
Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to a bio-pharmaceutical testing laboratory based in Livingston. In this role you will be analysing pharmaceutical products using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC and wet chemistry techniques and support in managing junior staff members.
Responsibilities:
Analyzing pharmaceutical products using techniques such as UV, FTIR, and wet chemistry, HPLC and GC
Sample preparation, weighing samples and sample analysis
Conduct dissolution testing
Checking and verifying of laboratory data, ensuring corrections are made as required
Validate methods in accordance to ICH guidelines and in house procedures
Qualifications:
Degree in Science or equivalent
Experience in using HPLC, GC and analytical techniques
Previous experience in working with pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical testing laboratory
Excellent knowledge of working according to GMP guidelines
Experience working within a fast-paced, commercial analytical testing laboratory
Happy to consider graduates for this role with good analytical chemistry knowledge
Excellent communication and written skills
