Job Title: Head of Retail Marketing UK & EU

Location: Ascot, Berkshire

Salary: £75,000 £85,000 per annum, depending on experience

Reporting into: Senior Marketing Director

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Trade / Channel Marketing to lead our high-performing team and drive integrated channel marketing strategies.

Role Overview:

As the Head of Retail Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing landscape for our business and brands. Your primary focus will be on leading, coaching, and developing a talented store and channel marketing team. You will be responsible for creating holistic and integrated channel marketing plans that enhance customer experience, boost retail sales and achieve category objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Creation and Implementation:

• Identify strategies to drive footfall to our stores and websites, analysing the impact on traffic, frequency, and spend.
• Lead the collaborative campaign planning process across online and offline channels.
• Execute additional promotional activities within campaigns, such as Gift with Purchase, store openings, and category promotions.
• Evaluate campaign performance across all channels and apply insights to shape future strategies.

Campaign Planning:

• Define the campaign plan, product priorities, and brand focus.
• Develop marketing campaign plans aligned with commercial objectives and sales goals.
• Collaborate with Category Merchandising Team and stakeholders to devise an annual marketing plan driving new product development and growth in core product lines.
• Lead the execution plans for each campaign, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives.
• Engage with Marketing Channel Owners for monthly messaging co-creation.

Direct Mail Management:

• Oversee the design and delivery of direct mail for multiple countries and languages.
• Support the evolution and marketing effectiveness of direct marketing publications.

Marketing Leadership:

• Manage a team of 6 direct reports, ensuring a flawless experience across physical retail stores.
• Lead Visual Merchandising, Store Design, and POS production to integrate retail marketing and enhance retail experience.
• Support the evolution and marketing effectiveness of store marketing and POS print and fulfilment.

Marketing Effectiveness and Budget Management:

• Evaluate all marketing communications, aligning decisions with sector trends, business needs, and competitor activity.
• Lead the annual marketing and budget planning process in collaboration with the Marketing Director and Campaign Marketing Planning Manager.
• Drive accurate budget forecasting, ensuring alignment with sales targets.
• Identify opportunities for best practices and increased share of voice for an optimal omnichannel customer experience.

Salary and Benefits:
