Join as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser in Merthyr Tydfil!
Overview: A prominent estate agency is seeking an experienced mortgage advisor or mortgage broker to provide mortgage and protection advice from their bustling Merthyr Tydfil office. You’ll work with mortgages up to £400k, and the average property value is £200k, providing the opportunity to bank £130k – £150k, with earnings potential exceeding £50k.
Main Duties: This is an excellent opportunity for a fully CeMAP qualified mortgage broker or adviser. You’ll be working for one of the best known and reputable estate agency brands in Wales, based in Merthyr Tydfil. Our client offers a good basic salary, new leads, access to the existing client base and high earnings potential.
The busy branch in Merthyr Tydfil requires a proactive mortgage advisor or mortgage broker to work with the financial incentivised introducers, contacting existing clients to review their mortgages and protection policies while receiving fresh leads daily. You’ll cover a bustling branch, working with a team of negotiators and providing regulated advice on mortgages and associated protection products. You’ll have access to qualified leads, a large database of existing clients, various mortgage products, and competitive protection policies. The branch will provide you with 8 first appointments per week and aim for you to write 2 mortgages with an average case size of £1,800.
Key Skills: As the sole mortgage advisor or broker within the Merthyr Tydfil branch, in-depth knowledge of mortgages and various products is essential, along with the CeMAP qualification (or equivalent). Applications will be considered from individuals with a tied, independent, or banking mortgage background, provided they have a strong track record in mortgage sales and hold CeMAP, CF6, or MAQ qualifications, along with CAS.
