WHAT TO EXPECT
We are actively in pursuit of an accomplished Simulation Engineer, poised to play a pivotal role in advancing our Battery realm.
Your mission? Being an important participant in energy-related requirements activity across the increasing range of JLR’s electrified products for the battery design and release team.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Participate in agile ceremonies and practices within the team
- Using modelling and simulation processes support the delivery of cell design factors and parameters
- Assist with discussions of new requirements and attributes based on latest technology and status
- Assist with the delivery of method development to fulfil battery cell & pack requirements
- Assist in the delivery of models with stakeholders ensure version tracking and accountability
- Cascade requirements to the relevant delivery teams and assist in PDS generation with cell commodity engineers as requested
- Assist in the delivery of squad input/output to customers and stakeholders
- Provide the interface for physical and virtual DV teams and ensure test cases are provided and gateway evidence collated
- Deliver the quality and integrity of the model by providing correlation evidence to stakeholders
- Ensure robust timing plans are in place that achieve program milestones, providing relevant teams with notice to deliver required evidence
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential –
- Technical background with experience in System Engineering for Battery Electric Vehicles
- Experience in requirements management and test cases
- Experience of system level and quality tools DFMEA
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree or relevant equivalent experience
- Ability to organise and manage meetings generate agendas, capture minutes and actions
- Ability to build and manage multiple internal relationships in complex stakeholder environments
