Job description
Axcis Education are working with a school, situated in the Warrington area, who are seeking behavioural mentors to join them.
These positions are full time, long term. Monday - Friday, although the school will consider part time hours for the right candidate. This special school caters for children and young people aged 2 - 19 years who exhibit a wide range of both social, emotional and mental health and educational needs, which have an impact on their learning. The school provides a flexible curriculum that addresses all areas of the individual student’s needs. The school aim to ensure all pupils leave school having become confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens. Moreover, as a teaching assistant, you will be trained to use the PACE approach, supported by thrive activities, to ensure each child is able to access the broad and balanced curriculum which the school offer. To apply for these SEND support, staff roles, you need to have had experience working with children – preferably children with special needs, although this is not essential. You must also be able to commit fully to the duration of the position, be a team player, reliable and have a positive work ethic. INDLIVJob tags
