Job description

Our client is looking for an editorial assistant to join our expanding localisation and proofreading team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate, or person with similar industry experience, who is interested in an editorial, language-based career.
We’re looking for someone who is willing to throw themselves into editorial tasks right from the start. You’ll have the right mindset with an eye for detail and outstanding organisational skills. You will also need a willingness to apply your editing, proofing and reviewing skills to whichever editorial project may emerge.
You’ll want to be part of a growing and changing environment. In no time at all you will be managing areas of your own projects and relationships with clients, as well as assigning work to freelancers. You may have social media know-how or an interest in trivia but these are nice-to-haves, not essential.

• Graduate or equivalent, with a proven interest in editing
• Fast, accurate worker
• Flexible and able to cope with change at short notice
• Organised and able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines
• Quick to learn new skills
• Proactive and able to multitask

• Copywriting skills or an interest in writing
• Social media expertise (ideas and writing posts)
• An awareness or experience of English variants (US, IN, CA, etc.)
• Passion for editing or writing in the sustainability field
• An interest in board games and trivia
