FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Robert Half are the exclusive recruitment provider to this super fast growth tech PLC, dominating the UK market and now expanding internationally and now seek to recruit a financial reporting accountant. You would work with and report to a world class, ex BIG4 leadership team, most of whom had started in this role! This role would be based at their Maidenhead HQ, with the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week.

This role would suit a recently qualified ACA, ACCA candidate, ideally with a practice background, although industry progressive profiles will be considered.

Duties:

• Own and evolve technical accounting and reporting for areas such as revenue recognition and IFRS 15
• Work with the existing team to provide timely and accurate management accounts and financial statements
• Ensure the business is prepared for the year end audit and be a key contact for the auditors
• Business partnering with the cost budget holders of the business (IT, HR, Marketing, Events etc)
• Work with the team on areas such as consolidation, intercompany, sustainability and other project-based work
• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations for several areas
• Keeping up to date with audit, regulation, and industry developments
• Working with the wider business (Sales/Purchasing/Credit Control/Accounts Payable/Credit assessment/Tax) to ensure processes and controls are correct and being applied appropriately
