Job Description
- Analysing financial data and creating financial models for decision support.
- Improving financial status by analysing results, monitoring variances and identifying trends.
- Recommending actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Increasing productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
- Performing market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.
- Maintaining a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
- Guiding the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Analyst should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, financial modelling and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong in Excel.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
