The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit an inspiring leader of our Maths Faculty at The Priory Community School - An Academy. The successful candidate will be central to designing an ambitious curriculum and driving up standards. You will be joining a large and supportive Maths team that promotes the school's values of Aspiration, Integrity and Respect. You will have a clear vision for our mathematics curriculum and work with colleagues to ensure all teaching and learning is of the highest quality. You will be an excellent practitioner and able to lead by example. You will foster inclusivity for all learners, providing a challenging, engaging and innovative learning environment.

The Priory Community School has high expectations for all students, so we require a dedicated and driven leader who can support students to achieve their best.

What you will do:

• To contribute to the progress and successful implementation of the academy and Faculty Improvement Plans with specific responsibility for the Faculty
• To lead a team of teachers in the delivery of the subject within the faculty, ensuring high quality learning experiences within the classroom To develop and enhance the teaching practice of teachers in the faculty.
• To promote the faculty as a subject across the academy

The successful candidates will have:

• Qualified Teacher status
• Relevant teaching experience in Key Stay 3 and 4.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Ensure effective quality control and continuous improvement in all aspects of the work and responsibilities attached to this post.
• Commit to professional self-development, through participation in in-service training as necessary for the successful carrying out of the job.
