About the role
We are looking for a Compliance Manager/Technical Analyst to join our Seller Growth and Compliance team.
You will be responsible for monitoring, managing and improving the performance of third-party sellers, ensuring that they deliver high-quality products and services to our customers, and complying with our policies and standards.
You will be responsible for
- Manage seller performance across order quality and customer management KPIs, such as order cancellation rate, customer satisfaction score, and return rate
- Seller performance management and improvement, providing feedback and guidance to sellers on how to enhance their performance and compliance
- Collect and monitor complaint and reviews data, identifying and resolving any issues or trends that affect customer experience or trust
- Liaise with PRC to manage emergency product withdrawals and product related escalations, ensuring that any unsafe or defective products are removed from the platform
- Liaise with After sales and fulfilment on delivery performance, ensuring that sellers meet the delivery expectations and standards of our platform and customers
- Monitor industry recalls and withdrawals and remove similar products, targeting high-risk products such as electrical, food, or health-related items
- Develop and implement compliance strategies and procedures, ensuring that sellers comply with our policies and standards, such as product safety, sustainability, and ethical sourcing
- Monitor and report on compliance performance and issues, providing regular and accurate reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders
- Provide training and support to sellers and internal teams on compliance matters, ensuring that they are aware and updated on relevant laws and regulations
- Conduct research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, ensuring that our platform and sellers are compliant with the latest requirements and best practices
You will need
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in technical compliance management
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to supplier and retail quality, safety, and legality.
- Relevant knowledge/experience of delivering safe, legal and responsibly sourced, great quality products to our customers.
- Experience in Product technical compliance, quality assurance, or risk management
- Desirable Knowledge of e-commerce, marketplace, or retail industry
- Familiarity with Tesco\'s policies and standards, or ability to learn quickly
- Extensive knowledge of legislation and technical standards relating to food and non food areas
- Extensive knowledge of legislation and technical standards
- Understanding of retail and customer needs
