We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to support the head of marketing and campaigns to ensure the development and effective delivery of current and new programmes and campaigns across Energy Saving Trust.
The team
- The marketing communications team successfully delivers an increasing number of programmes and campaigns for funders, clients and businesses.
- Our aim is to deliver highly effective campaigns and return on investment with an increasingly agile and flexible approach.
- As a team, we want to identify and embrace new ideas, develop processes and ways of working that support the team, incorporate greater evaluation of our work, and share our insight.
- We need to develop audiences, new markets and relationships with stakeholders and partners in collaboration with programme and business development teams to deliver our mission and contribute to current and future growth.
The role
- You will work collaboratively with the head of marketing and campaigns and current senior marketing managers to develop the work of the full marketing communications team and support other teams across the company.
- This particular role will involve the direct line management of the marketing managers for the transport team, international team (EforA/LEIA) and Scottish Government/Northern Ireland programmes.
What you’ll do
- You will manage a defined set of programmes areas, line managing a team of marketing managers, and working closely with relevant senior programme managers.
- You will ensure that all programme work is delivered effectively, sharing insights and embedding best practice, and take a long-term view on the development of the programme areas including audiences and relationships with funders and stakeholders.
- You will lead on or contribute to the development of new products and services and bids and tenders, including market insight, competitor analysis and costed delivery solutions, in partnership with the business development team and manage the mobilisation of new programmes and campaigns.
What you’ll bring
- You will have effective line management skills and experience and an appreciation of the approach required to line manage experienced managers.
- You will bring a collaborative and supportive approach, an appetite for new ideas and the confidence to challenge and question appropriately to maintain quality and introduce improvements.
- You will solution focused and take responsibility, while appreciating the scope of your authority, and work in the interests of the team.
This is a fixed term maternity cover position. Our standard weekly hours are 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.
This will need to be a full-time role.
We are open to flexible working locations (within the UK) and as standard we offer all contracts on blended (home and office-based) working.
