About the Trust
The Trust is one of the largest specialist mental health providers in the country, providing inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford, Trafford and Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and addiction services across Greater Manchester, the northwest of England and beyond.
What youâll be responsible for:
· Coordinate a range of administrative and secretarial tasks for Senior Managers in the Quality Improvement Team. This will include responding to emails and answering telephone calls on behalf of senior managers. This will also include diary management, organisation of meetings and training, and travel arrangements.
· Provide full administrative support to the Quality Improvement Team. This includes using Microsoft Offices packages, filing, photocopying, use of databases, letter writing and designing leaflets and posters.
· Organise and coordinate training on behalf of the Quality Improvement Team. The postholder will be expected to organise room bookings, diary management and coordination of training packs.
· The postholder will be expected to as a PA/secretary for meetings, organising diaries and distributing relevant information. This will include coordination of room bookings, diary management, preparation of agenda and papers, action planning and minute taking.
· To initiate, record and retrieve records through databases such as project logs.
· Respond to routine requests for information from the Senior Managers and other members of the Trust.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
Youâll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
Youâll have the following skills/experience:
· NVQ Level 3 Business Administration or equivalent experience.
· GCSE in English and Maths, or equivalent.
· Experience of working in a busy office environment.
· Minute taking and diary management experience.
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent IT skills
· Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years administration experience.
