Pay: Competitive

Hours/Contract type: Flexible - Self-Employed, Part-Time, Full-Time, Sessional/Zero-hours options available (dependant on Curriculum requirements)

We are seeking to appoint experienced and inspirational FE Assessors / Reviewers  at our award winning College Group starting as soon as possible. We have roles based across both East Surrey College (Redhill) and/or John Ruskin College (Croydon) and the successful candidates will be required to commute across both colleges where needed. Depending on your employment situation we are able to consider a range of flexible employment contracts, as well as self-employed arrangements.

In this important post you will be responsible for a caseload of work-based learners including apprentices, with key responsibility for managing and maximising the apprentice learning journey, tracking timely completion and achievement of all elements of the standard. 

Some of your duties will include; conducting practical assessments both onsite at the College and offsite in the workplace, monitoring and tracking progress, completing reviews regularly, and attending meetings as required by the Quality, Apprenticeship or Curriculum team. You will also be expected to build strong relationships with those in the industry on behalf of the College, and to manage communication with the employers and work based learners/apprentices through to the relevant End Point Assessment, ensuring all records comply with the required standards.

L3/4 Civil Engineering

L3/4/6 Quantity Surveying

L2 Property Maintenance

L3 Plumbing

L2 Brickwork

L2 Painting and Decorating
