Job description

Our client’s corporate tax practice is a collaborative team of tax professionals advising the best clients in the Australian market. As a result of continued growth in their business, they are currently looking to add to their team with experienced corporate tax specialists who have experience in tax compliance, tax accounting and reporting, and tax advisory.

The role

The team is currently looking to hire a Manager to provide a range of compliance and advisory services to their clients. Technically strong, you will have excellent client management experience and be a team player.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of multinational inbound and outbound clients and oversee the preparation and review of income tax provisions and returns and other reporting as required. There is also the opportunity to be involved in tax advisory assignments for these clients.
• Ideally have sound technical knowledge of Financial Accounting and IFRS (but not required).
• Oversee a team of staff and ensure the quality delivery of compliance services.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and existing clients as well as seek opportunities to leverage work from new clients

Skills and attributes

• Experience in relation to income tax compliance provision and return preparation, preferably gained in a professional services firm in Australia.
• Excellent client-facing skills with the confidence to lead client meetings and build a network
• Experience managing a portfolio of large, complex clients
• Works well in a team and has high attention to detail and is task orientated
• Completed CA qualifications or equivalent
