Job Description Summary
As Recruitment Acceleration Leader in the HVDC segment, you will contribute to the energy segment by leading the hiring ramp-up for over 1,000 highly skilled positions globally in strong partnership with GSI technology and function leaders, talent acquisition and HR teams, and ensure accelerated time to hire. The overall objective of this role is to participate and lead various recruitment initiatives in support of the overall business strategy.

Within GE Vernova Grid Solutions, the Grid Systems Integration (GSI) Business Line, is accountable for the sales, project execution and services of High Voltage Alternative & Direct Current (HVDC) complete solutions (over 2,600 employees). Typical project values range from a couple of hundreds of thousand dollars, up to the billion-dollar range. GSI is structured around 7 Regions, Product Delivery Groups and central Functions.

Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead strategy to hire over 1,000 positions with a focus on Engineering & Technology and Project Management functions
- Define skills-based hiring plans and ensure quality of hires for critical skill shortages through strong partnership with business technology functional leaders and Project Directors
- Provide centralized inputs to Talent Acquisition, the internal skills development academy and hiring managers, supervise progress of hiring plans and graduate programs and set hiring prioritization via rigorous operating rhythms. Ensure on-time hiring and quick response in case of attrition.
- Ensure adherence to Rules of Engagement (standard work) from all parties involved to improve time to hire.
- Unblock complex recruitments for critical roles including the creation of contingency plans.
- Actively engage in expanding GSI’s network of candidates through external partnerships (community management, associations, local events, etc) and develop a better understanding of our competitive positioning in the market as it relates to talent.
- Promote engagement with our employee referral program and utilize it in creative ways to build passive and active candidate pipelines in collaboration with talent acquisition.
Qualifications :
- Senior recruitment experience, with Engineering background as a plus
- Track record in hypergrowth technical environments
- Direct or Functional people management experience
- High sense of urgency
- Recruitment experience within a consultative recruiting model, HR Manager experience as a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt quickly to changes and creatively problem solve.
