As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will be supporting vulnerable individuals who are facing issues regarding their mental health and wellbeing. You will be working as part of a dedicated team, helping to make a positive difference in peoples lives.

Responsibilities:

*Including but not limited to

• Using legislation, guidance, and reflective social work practice to ensure that key concepts and theories in social work are utilized to ensure the best possible outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
• Using local knowledge and professional experience to make decisions that uphold autonomy whilst recognizing the social work role for safe intervention
• Ensuring assessments are accurate
• Playing a role within a range of multi-agency teams to ensure co-ordinated, appropriate assessments and support that remain person-centred and enable users to maintain their independence
• Providing users with appropriate levels of support whilst further ensuring that the user and council receive best value for money and that services

Requirements:

• Social Work Qualification
• Previous experience in a Mental Health Social Work position
• Social Work Registration
• Enhanced DBS, dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one

Relevant Information:

• Pay: £36+ PH
