Job Description
- Undertaking proactive and reactive work issued through our Agility helpdesk within set time frames so that production expectations are met
- Ensuring that equipment operates to specified performance criteria
- Ensuring equipment and surrounding areas conform to agreed company standards.
- Providing a professional service and represent the department in a way that promotes a professional two-way relationship
- Evaluating performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment is carried out in the appropriate time frames
- Take a pro-active approach to team liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary
- Being fully aware of company requirements, health & safety and production needs at all times
- Ensuring that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents/records are maintained accurately
The Successful Applicant
- Applicants must have completed a timed served apprenticeship in an engineering subject, be NVQ level 3 or equivalent and have completed an ONC/HNC in mechanical/electrical engineering.
- Have a previous background in a maintenance environment is essential.
- Have a good working knowledge and experience in electrical, electronic mechanical engineering and F-Gas
- Have experience with Temperature chambers/Ovens with Co2, liquid Nitrogen F-Gas and vacuum systems, Electro Beam and laser welders, laser marking, PLC's would be an advantage
What's on Offer
- Salary £38,000
- Working hours - 39hrs
- Monday to Wednesday 8.00am - 4:30pm
- Thursday, Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm
- 1 Hr flexing these times when you work to help you fit everything in and work when you are the most productive.
- Plus overtime when required.
