Due to continued increase in business, we are looking to recruit for a Supply Chain Assistant to be a part of a busy Supply chain team.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB AND OBJECTIVES
- Ensure that customer sales orders are sent out within a timely
- Ensuring goods are received, booked in and processed in a timely
- Managing the Material and Stock by maintaining and driving an accurate visible schedule of kitting and audit activities, ensuring that goods are ready to distribute to customers in a timely fashion.
- Ensure that all relevant procedures are followed and compliance is at least maintained in line with current versions of ISO:9001 and ISO:13485
KEY DUTIES
- Adhere to all aspects of the Company Quality System in the completion of duties ensuring all policies and procedures are followed
- Book incoming goods in an accurate and timely Communicating with the purchasing team regarding any issues with purchase orders and incoming goods.
- Assists in the planning of IQC based on the delivery schedule, this includes liaising with suppliers on delivery dates.
- Accurate dispatch of all shipments including sales orders and free text
- Ensure that delivery costs are kept to a minimum by identifying the optimum delivery partners.
- Communicating with the sales and customer service team regarding
- Driving warehouse best practice and delivering high Health & Safety Standards in all Supply Chain areas
- Develops an accurate schedule detailing all allocation and kitting tasks and when they should be completed by to meet predicted completion date.
- Liaises with production employees to ensure all materials and stock is available when required.
- Management and replenishment of the Kanban stores area.
- Ensures accurate inventory and stock management of the warehouse.
- Carry out and complete cyclic stock counts.
- Provide cover for the other members of the Supply Chain area where necessary, especially with regard to raising purchase orders.
- Coordinate the monthly review of expired, obsolete and quarantined stock.
The hours are flexible, with a choice of 8am-4pm, 8.30am-4.30pm or 9am-5pm
FLT experience is desired but not essential for this role.
