Job Title: Senior Engineer - Support Engineering (Obsolescence)

Salary: up to £46,000

What you will be doing:

• Capturing and recording obsolescence data within the toolsets
• Liaising with stakeholders for identification of resolutions/mitigations - have a level of technical acumen to understand but also change governance
• Direct liaison with the customers
• Will have an awareness of wider reporting duties of the team
• Weekly metrics reporting

Your skills and experiences:

• Technical experience, Mechanical engineering/Submarines background
• Excellent communication and personal interaction skills
• Awareness of Obsolescence standards (nice to have but not essential)
• Teamcenter, SAP (nice to have but not essential)

The Obsolescence Management Team:

You will join Obsolescence Management Team which is working on next class most advance submarine programme. As a Senior Engineer you will be responsible for identifying and dealing with obsolescence risk and assisting in facilitating resolution/mitigations. There are a lot of projects available to progress into and enhance your learning. You will have opportunity for career progression and opportunity to become a Member of the International Institute of Obsolescence Management.
