Business Development Manager – Digital Transformation
Are you a business development manager with experience in solution selling? If you are looking for a foot in the door to the world of technology, then this could be the opportunity for you!
Location: Warrington
Working hours – Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00
Working Model – Hybrid- Mondays and Thursdays will be your days in the office.
Salary: £35,000– £45,000 D.O.E + Company Car or Car Allowance
- Year 1: Realistic OTE Commission: £10,000 – £20,000
- Year 2: Realistic OTE Commission: £15,000 - £30,000
The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity working for a digital transformation solutions provider, who have a fantastic global reputation! We are looking for a Business Development Manager to grow new business opportunities in the North if England.
The company offer a range of different software solutions which help companies to streamline processes within their businesses. You will be selling document management and document capture software which will allow a company to digitalise their workflows partially or fully. The benefits of doing this are huge! Processes will become a lot more efficient and safter at the same time. They can also reduce the need for ugly filing cabinets or storage rooms on site.
The Role:
- Generate business opportunities and generate profitable sales.
- Develop and build new business relationships within the specified target market/verticals through consistent and systematic relationship building.
- Actively seek to understand our target markets, the industry we operate in, our company, clients, products and services, and which market strategies can be used to attract new clients.
- The Business Development Manager will meet and exceed bookings, revenue, and margin targets.
- Prepare proposals and quotes supporting your sales.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Business Development teams to develop lead generation campaigns that drive new business.
- Researching organisations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets.
- Contacting potential clients via email, social or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
- Prepare and deliver customer facing presentations to articulate solutions and return on investment.
- Maintain fruitful relationships with existing customers.

- Starting salary of up to £45’000 for the right person.

About you:
- Experience in B2B Sales.
- Our Business Development Manager will ideally have experience in IT Sales, but this isn’t essential.
- Knowledge and experience of a structured sales process.
- Ability to quickly build and grow prospect customer relationships.
- Experience in the development of cross functional relationships with both internal teams and external clients.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Business acumen and commercial awareness, the ability to solve business issue with IT solutions.
- Influential in negotiation and communication
