Job description
This role will be employed through Step One Charity, working alongside the Alliance Locality Manager to help deliver a mental health and wellbeing support offer across Torbay and South Devon. The successful candidate will undergo a comprehensive induction and training programme to learn the necessary psychologically informed skills, such as DBT, required to perform the role. You will work closely with other professionals to deliver a joined-up approach to mental health services. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in an innovative and impactful programme that will make a genuine difference to people across Devon. You will be joining a committed and forward-looking team, with opportunities for you to grow your experience, skills, and influence as the programme develops.Through a creative and responsive approach, you will build relationships with the people we support to improve their health and wellbeing and enable their emotional, physical, intellectual and social needs. You will be able to deliver one-to-one interventions as well as group sessions. Knowledge of psychologically informed interventions and coping strategies is desirable. The ability to work in a person-centred manner and signpost individuals to services that best suit their needs is essential.
