Job description
We are looking for a supportive and patient person to support our daughter, and we live in Helston.
She is ten years old, and she is a sociable and interactive little girl. She has developmental delay, sensory processing disorder, and she is non-verbal. She loves swimming, soft plays, and anything outdoors. We are looking for someone fun and outgoing, who will help her enjoy activities in her local community and help with life skills. The hourly rate of pay is £12.00 plus 40p per mile mileage. Support required once a week after school hours and the occasional weekends. Some school holiday availability will be required. Five hours per week are available, although this is very flexible. Car driver and access to own vehicle essential. Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is desirable. The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family.
