Job description

We are looking for colleagues to be trained to provide holiday cover in the CCTV centre of excellence based at Camberwell Garage. In the cover role you will provide a back-office support function by ensuring we deliver CCTV footage promptly and efficiently in line with SLA and targets for TfL.

Some of the key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Maintaining Go Ahead London’s CCTV systems, including CCTV fitted in company vehicles and buses and CCTV located on property.
• Managing and reporting faults observed on our wireless system (LANLink) and reporting any faults through the database and ensuring that faults are followed up and rectified.
• Monitoring warranties connected with all CCTV equipment ensuring faults are fixed and carried out under warranty if applicable.
• Responding promptly to all requests for CCTV, these requests may be from a variety of sources and it is your responsibility to prioritise requests.
• Ensuring compliance with GDPR requests, ensuring requests are reasonable, for a valid reason and requested from a colleague with the necessary authority, examples are requests in relation to accidents, complaints, requested by the police because of criminal incidents or in relation to a colleague’s unacceptable behaviour.
• Reviewing the G sensor footage and reporting any findings to the local garage management.

We are looking for individuals ideally with a good working knowledge of garage operations and procedures with some knowledge of the internal CCTV system. You will be someone who organises their workload and has a structured and practical approach to achieving tasks. Equally important is a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail, whilst remaining calm and positive under pressure.

Please note this cover role includes working both late and night shifts, when you are not required to provide cover, you will remain in your current role / grade, working pattern and rate of pay.
