Housing Management - National Firm (Walsall)
THE ROLE
This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior solicitor to join the Housing Management team of a supportive team in Birmingham. The Housing Management department is a busy litigation team which acts for a large number of Registered Providers of Social Housing on all aspects of their housing functions. Their work includes acting for clients on possession actions, antisocial behaviour, injunctions, disrepair, policy and procedure work.
As a solicitor you will support a team of experienced lawyers gaining experience in a variety of interesting work. They want to invest in your career and help you to become a recognised expert in your own right, so you will have plenty of one-to-one development and encouragement from your supervising partner and the wider team.
Subject to your level of experience your case load will include injunctions and possession applications, advisory work, discrimination claims and all aspects of drafting including pleadings, witness statements and regular client communication. There is also the option to carry out advocacy.
Most of their people choose to work in a hybrid fashion, working from home and attending their offices on occasion.
