Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a Tool Maker to work in their leading facility in Telford
For the successful Tool Maker our client is offering:
• £36,000 DOE per annum
• 4 on 4 off shifts 7:00AM- 7:00PM
• Permanent position
• Free parking
• Overtime available
• Company pension plan
• 22 days holiday + bank holidays
The role- Tool Maker:
• Interpret Engineering drawings.
• Utilise workshop machinery such as CNC wire eroders, laser welder, vertical milling machines, centre lathe and surface grinders.
• Fully machine parts as required from drawings supplied.
• Conduct repairs and modifications
• Assist when required with any tooling matters.
• Complete tasks on time and efficiently.
• Ensure quality is achieved through attention to detail.
• Understand written and verbal instructions.
• To look to improve working practices, systems and processes in the tool room.
What our client is looking for in a Tool Maker:
• HNC/City and Guilds in Engineering- ESSENTIAL
• Engineering aptitude.
• Experience of CNC wire erosion and laser welding- PREFERABLE
• Experience in Milling, Turning, Grinding
• Good level of numeracy and literacy.
• Ability to use a PC to an operational level.
• Time served apprentice (preferable)
• Basic engineering understanding.
