Role Overview – Fitting and Inspection Manager

My client is a leading aerospace and defence business based in the Bedford area. They are looking for a Fitting and Inspection Manager to join their team with the aim of assisting in the implementation of growth and improvement strategies.

Key Responsibilities – Fitting and Inspection Manager

• Working in the manufacturing and design planning processes alongside other areas of the business with a goal of acquiring new business.
• Supporting of internal and external commercial activities.
• Management of all aspects of business growth.
• Development of new business cases when required.
• Provide guidance and support from resource conflicts.
• Management of direct reports through regular communication.

Qualifications and Requirements – Fitting and Inspection Manager

• Knowledgeable in all design, production, machinery, tools and techniques used with tight tolerance component manufacturing.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership of projects, with proven record of delivering time, quality and cost targets.
• Educated to degree level or higher.
• Experience working as part of the management within a team.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar role
